PMI Montana Chapter is proud to be able to give back to our community and profession with a $1,000 annual Academic Scholarship. The scholarship is for undergraduates and graduates through the PMI Educational Foundation.

Are you pursuing a undergraduate or graduate degree in project management or a field benefiting from project management?

Do you have family members, friends, or co-workers who are?

Help us spread the word and make sure this scholarship is put to use and awarded to a qualified candidate in Montana or Wyoming.  Eligible applicants will be considered for the PMI Montana Chapter Scholarship with the following order of priority:

  • 1st Priority: A Montana or Wyoming resident attending or planning to attend an accredited college or university in Montana or Wyoming pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in Project Management or a related field.
  • 2nd Priority: A Montana or Wyoming resident attending or planning to attend an accredited college or university in the United States pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in Project Management or a related field.
  • 3rd Priority: Any individual attending or planning to attend an accredited college or university in Montana or Wyoming pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in Project Management or a related field.
  • 4th Priority: Any individual attending or planning to attend an accredited college or university in the United States pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in Project Management or a related field.

The PMI Educational Foundation Academic Scholarship Program is designed to financially assist qualified individuals in obtaining degrees from accredited academic institutions in the field of project management or related fields benefiting from project management (i.e. engineering, business).

Each application requires a 500 word limit essay regarding project management, two references, an official transcript and resume.

Applications from interested candidates must be received by PMIEF no later than May 1 each year. Notification to awardees will be sent via email to each applicant in August. Candidates who have not received the award will also be notified via email. Upon award, the scholarship funds will be given directly to the student.
